Data Entry Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update data into various systems and databases accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify and correct data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update physical and digital filing systems as necessary.
  • Retrieve and organize data from various sources for input into the system.
  • Review data for errors, missing information, and inconsistencies, and follow up to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to clarify data requirements.
  • Ensure data entry tasks are completed within established deadlines.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a data entry operator, data entry clerk, or similar position.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
